Progeny

I told my children how fast we were traveling through space…
Their hair unfurled into the stellar winds,
jaws dropped, I saw galaxies floating by, reflected in their retinas,
their eyelashes deflecting stray comets.
Dazzled and pure,
their eternal creative futures became clear, obvious.
Far more my siblings than my progeny,
we approach these things…

  1. That is a gorgeous metaphysical thought poem, great beauty in the idea and in its execution.

    Thank you, Paul.

I agree. Wonder is shared not taught.

I’m glad! Nice to see you here.
