  1. What a beautiful country.

I agree, Paul. It’s the upper piedmont of Virginia near the northern end of the Shenandoah Valley in the Allegheny ranges of the Appalachian Mountains. Maybe 5 miles from the Appalachian Trial (The Green Tunnel). In a recent TV documentary I learned that 90+% of the beef consumed in the US is born and raised in herds of 26 head or less on small farms along the Eastern piedmont. That amazed me.
My dad, 81, owns this farm. We meet at the farm each morning for coffee and a few chores, and then I walk back to my home office to work.

Lovely green and what an uncovering! Ok, I stay there a bit through contemplation.
    Thank you dear.
